JG Ingenieros has provided the facilities engineering service for the preparation of the BIM design, simulations for BREEAM certification and technical assistance to the construction management for the project: Airbus D&S Getafe Campus Headquarters, also known as Airbus Futura Campus.
The Campus is the largest aeronautical facility in Spain, where activities for the 4 Airbus divisions are carried out (engineering, design, manufacturing and assembly of aeronautical components and systems). It currently occupies 1,240,000 m2 of land. The new headquarters are located inside the Campus, where Airbus DS moved its headquarters for around 1,600 employees.
The project consisted of the development of 6 buildings: Central Offices building (OC), Information Management building (IM), Dining Room building (COM), Identification and Security building (ID), Parking building (P7) and Data Center building (CPD), with a total constructed area (built) of 50,746 m2.
The project has obtained BREEAM environmental certification at Very Good level.
