JG Ingenieros has been responsible for carrying out the project of execution of installations and the technical assistance of installations in the construction management. It has also been the company responsible for leed accreditation.
The rental office building is located at Calle Lázaro Galdiano 6 in Madrid. A comprehensive rehabilitation of the building was carried out to optimize its efficiency and sustainability.
The building has nine floors above ground level, eight of which are used as offices. The ground floor houses a large double-height lobby and a commercial space. The three floors below ground level are used as parking. In the first phase, the existing façades and interior partitions were demolished, and a new glazed façade with a double skin, interior slabs, enclosures was subsequently built, as well as the comprehensive renovation of all the facilities. The total surface area above ground level is 9,324 m2. Below ground level there are 2,743 m2.
The building obtained the Leed Gold certification awarded by the US Green Building Council during the design phase. The building is currently in the process of obtaining LEED Platinum certification . In addition, it also has energy certification A.
